Looking for a peaceful lakefront retreat on Vancouver Island? Vintage Cabins offers a private lakeside retreat on beautiful Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia. Two cabins: The Bluebird and The Boathouse, offer comfortable accommodation for a parties of four.

Designed for both relaxation and outdoor activities, the cabin combines vintage character with modern comfort and everything you need for a memorable stay. Spend summer days swimming, paddleboarding, waterskiing or simply relaxing on the deck. In the quieter winter months, curl up, watch the changing weather roll across the lake and enjoy the wildlife that makes Shawnigan Lake memorable.

The views are the real show stopper. With the cabin and decks perched above the water, the lake feels as though it stretches out directly in front of you. Guests have described the experience as an “infinity cabin”—a place where the cabin, deck, water and horizon seem to become one.
